Rachel may be one of the newer DIGIT team members but she has been a part of the team since her college internship with Student Working Professionals. Having successfully shined within the SWP accounting program, she became a full time DIGIT employee in October 2018 and is responsible for varied digital accounting tasks for the firm’s small-to-midsize business and nonprofit clients. This includes the management of monthly data entry and reports analysis. Rachel also regularly mentors new interns in the SWP and SWP Stars programs.
A graduate of Rowan University, Rachel received Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and is currently working towards her Master of Business Administration. She is a member of Beta Alpha Psi and looks to become an active member of the professional community as she continues to grow in her role. School and accounting are only some of Rachel’s interests. The Mullica Hill resident and New Jersey native enjoys photography, exercising and spending time with family. Through her work with SWP Stars, she shows a strong commitment to sharing what she has learned with all youth, including those on the spectrum. Rachel shares the DIGIT “teach-learn” philosophy and if she were to choose another career, it would be as a preschool teacher.
Rachel’s favorite motto is “Rebel without a cause” — one that dates back to high school and stuck with her until today.
For me, I am inspired by my parents. Each day, I look for ways to make them proud and giving back with all they have shared with me.”
