Background: Helping other companies grow has been the mission of this South Jersey based direct response company from day one and the innovative leadership team has wow’d its client base with new ways to drive customers no matter the industry. Yet, internally there was an on-going challenge to have accurate financial data on a regular and timely basis. Many companies are faced with this issue as clients and customers take precedence and internal operations can falter without proper focus.
The Issue: The privately-held company was using more traditional accounting practices to record business transactions and these old-school bookkeeping methods hindered their ability to have the real-time access to information required for the most efficient decision-making. Using older practices resulted in greater time and labor costs, so this company needed some guidance of its own.
